Students attitude and attendance from all classes and Prodigy related events will be reviewed prior to placement. Students ability, willingness to participate, engage in a drive for improved technique or skills, ability to work well with other dancers and instructors, and display of a positive steward of the studio.
CLASS REQUIREMENTS:
All contemporary and jazz competitive team students are required to take a ballet/technique class as assigned. Students must be regularly attending classes. Missed classes will result in dancer being taken out of competitive teams.
EVERY student who becomes a member of ANY Prodigy Team agrees to his/her commitment to dance with Prodigy Training Center Performance and / or Competitive Team for the entire season of 2019-2020. The season will run August 2019 - August 2020 (after all nationals competitions are complete).
All routines choreographed for dancers at Prodigy Training Center must be registered by PTCLV staff and under such studio. All competitive group routines and performance numbers will dance in our annual showcase. If any student or group would like to use a routine outside of the studio, they must have written consent from the PTCLV directors and choreographers.
Social Media Discussion. Appropriate representation of studio at all times. All new competition studios must attend 2 social media workshops held at the studio. Time: TBA
All dancers must sign the studio waiver and photo and video waiver prior to the season.
COMPETITION BEHAVIOR:
Students must be supportive of fellow dancers. Competitive team members must stay to support their team the entire session they are performing (meaning they stay to watch and support the groups from our studio until the end of those awards). Attend and watch fellow dancer solos, trios etc.
Students and parents are expected to behave appropriately at all events. Students are expected to attend ALL classes when attending convention. This includes ALL classes listed not the ones you only like.
COMPETITIVE REFUNDS:
Once the competitive contract is signed and turned into the office prior to the first day of competition classes there are no refunds.
There will be absolutely no refunds on competition fees, classes, costumes, conventions, camps or warm ups.
All classes are mandatory and may not to be missed for any reason other than illness (contagious, vomiting or fever), family emergency and school function for grade.
Other activities for other sports, vacations, and homework are NOT an excuse to miss within 2 weeks of a competition or performance. You are part of a TEAM and must commit to attendance as all dancers are to be held accountable.
COMPETITION ENTRY FEES AND CLASS TUITION:
Competition entry fees are due 90 days prior to a competition date.
IF FEES ARE NOT PAID ON TIME, THERE WILL BE A $25 CHARGE PER DANCE and /or PER ROUTINE.
All fees are non-refundable.
Students on team may not fall late with tuition. All tuition is to be paid on a monthly basis. NO EXCEPTIONS!
